Date: Monday, December 10, 2018
Time: 6-8pm
Location: Episcopal Community Services, 225 South 3rd Street, Philadelphia, PA 19106
Just in time for your holiday baking, ECS’ Young Friends Circle invites you to an evening with The New York Times bestselling author Anne Byrn as she digs into the history of American cookies. Anne’s new book American Cookie narrates the country’s progress while focusing on the American kitchen, and Byrn whips up a multisensory and incredibly detailed historical experience alongside every recipe. We will look specifically at how baking has been used to fight poverty throughout our history. Stick around to try out cookies from the book, sip cocktails, and meet the author!
