Youth Focus Group Session | Mar. 25 – Apr. 8
Share feedback on your experience as a teen or young adult navigating Philadelphia’s Continuum of Care. The Office of Homeless Service will use information gathered to complete an annual evaluation of the system and help determine how to better serve youth. Learn how you can participate.

Roadmap to Homes Community Meeting | Dec. 21 | 2 p.m.
New date! Learn about new developments and provide feedback on Philadelphia’s efforts to make homelessness rare, brief, and non-recurring. Providers, people with lived experience of homelessness, government partners, and all stakeholders are encouraged to attend.

Rapid Re-Housing (RRH) SSI SOAR Project | Jan. 13 | 11 a.m.
Learn how your organization can help to secure SSI income for RRH participants who are too disabled to work or age 65 or older. HAP paralegals Melissa Stafford and Patrick (PJ) Brogan will explain the project, detail client eligibility requirements, and outline the referral process.

Case Management for Time-Limited Assistance: Progressive Engagement and More | Feb. 10 | 11 a.m.
This one-hour session focuses on the distinctions between long-term vs. short-term case management and time-limited assistance. TA providers will discuss a number of case management scenarios to review when short-term case management strategies provide sufficient support.
Audience: Rapid Re-Housing and Homeless Prevention Providers
Emergency Shelter Homeless Eligibility and Documentation | Feb. 19 | 10 a.m.
This one-hour session focuses on how HUD determines who is considered homeless, who can access emergency shelter, and how to document that eligibility.
Audience: Emergency Shelter ESG Sub Recipients who conduct their own homeless eligibility determination
Help for the Hurdles: Lowering Barriers to Employment to Achieve Housing Stability | Mar. 9 | 10 a.m.
OHS is piloting a new employment initiative! Offering childcare and transportation assistance, Help for the Hurdles connects Emergency Shelter participants to employment opportunities and long-term career planning with the goal of achieving financial and housing stability. This one-hour session will explain the details of the program and how shelter residents can enroll.
