Basic Information

The Amistad Runaway Facility, located at 1706 Centro Familiar Blvd SW, Albuquerque, NM 87105, is a short-term residential program operated by Youth Development, Inc. (YDI). It provides shelter and support services to youth aged 12 to 17 who are experiencing a crisis, homelessness, or have run away from home. The facility operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week, offering a safe environment where youth can receive crisis intervention, assessment, counseling, recreational activities, life and social skills training, case management, and educational or vocational assistance. The primary goal is to reunite youth with their families or find alternative safe placements. Aftercare services are also available once youth discharge from the program.
